location close to attractions, clean rooms, dog-friendly environment
Room felt cramped with a dog!!! En-suite was tiny with the sink in the bedroom!!! Shower pressure was noticeably poor!!! Facilities and decor quite dated!!! Lack of proper dog amenities is disappointing!!!

Everything was simply great. We had a comfortable 4-star experience here. The hotel had a marvellous and fab location close to shops and restaurants. Moreover, it was right by somewhere to stay in Keswick, Keswick's shopping streets and the centre of town within easy walking distance of the town and lake.

Keswick vibes 🌲
Absolutely loved the brekkie-big, hearty, and baked to perfection, ag man! The host was super friendly and showed us a lekker time. The location is spot on, just a short walk to everything we wanted to see, like the lovely Derwent Water.
The room was a bit small for the two of us, but we managed just fine!

We loved the fresh local fish at Lakes Bar & Bistro, only a stroll away! The Dog and Gun served up hearty meals that were spot on. Plus, the easy access to the heart of Keswick.
Now, as for the room, it felt more like a cupboard! The street parking was a bit of a gamble, and when the hot water played hard to get, we did have a bit of a chilly shower moment. A bit noisy with taps in other rooms, but we kept our spirits high.

comfortable stay , but could use better shower pressure
The room was very clean and provided more space than I anticipated. I appreciated the ability to open the window for fresh air, made my sleep much more comfortable. The friendly service enhanced my experience, and I particularly enjoyed a good meal just a short stroll away, with local fish that was fresh.
The shower pressure was lacking.

Perfect base for exploring Keswick
We enjoyed our stay, which lasted 3 nights in a cozy double room. It was clean and had everything we needed, including a fridge and easy access to the town center just a short walk away. The owner was very responsive and friendly, helping us feel at home. One downside was that the shower pressure could be improved, but it didn't overshadow our enjoyable time exploring the local area.
